Hello!

My name is Beth Davidson.

Come along and join in the adventure, as we share in the beauty of words, love of stories and magical moments in childhood.

Scotland is home.

I’m currently spending half of my time writing a collection of inclusive children’s stories and the other half, searching for magic and wonder in the little moments.

Teacher

I graduated from The University of the Cumbria with a First Class in BA(Hons) with Qualified Teacher Status in Primary Education with Inclusion/ Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in 2018 and from The University of Edinburgh with an MSc Inclusive Education in 2019.

Writer

Every time I think about the power of language, I feel overwhelmed with joy. Words have unlimited power. Three letters holding hands, sitting side-by-side on a bench to make one word, can change your life. I want to share their magic and my love with as many people as possible.

Photographer

I am completely, utterly and totally in love with the Scottish landscape. I am inspired by its intensity and ferocity to always be itself. The colours, the weather and the endless peaks and valleys are nothing short of a miracle. Scotland is naturally beautiful, I simply press click on the camera.

Adventurer

You will often find me out in the wild exploring with the love of my life. One hand in his, the other capturing flickers of a moment with my camera. As Historic Scotland members, we find joy in learning about the people who walked this world we are now lucky enough to call our home.

Books with Beth

Hello there! Welcome to Books With Beth. The purpose of this video channel is to promote one of my favourite things in the whole world – my love of stories.

Here, you will find videos of me, alongside my friend Tony Tiger, reading children’s stories and providing examples of fun activities that you might like to do afterwards with children.

There are 20 stories to choose from. I hope that this is a helpful resource for parents, carers, schools and nurseries during the COVID-19 lockdown.
